Piper ! Black Labrador Retriever & Plott Hound Mix San Diego, CA

Piper is a beautiful, sweet girl! While she can be a little shy at first with strangers, she is such a love and is very affectionate and intensely loyal.

Piper is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls.

Piper is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, with humans and dogs. While I have never seen her interact with a cat, I have no reason to anticipate a problem.

I only adopt LOCALLY; San Diego and immediate vicinity. No long distance. Certainly no out of state.

I cannot respond to questions as to whether the animal is available. Please DO NOT contact me asking if the animal is available. If the dog is listed as adoptable, it is available.

A home check and a background check are MANDATORY to be considered. If you are unable or unwilling to consent to these requirements, please do not apply.

An adoption interview Is REQUIRED. One of our volunteers must meet and observe the dog interact with every member of the household, including pets.

Preference will be given to individuals who follow the instructions AND provide complete information for adoption purposes.
