11/25/25 Meet PIPER! This sweet one-year-old doberman is looking for a new home, and it’s not her fault. Her owner was evicted, leaving her with nowhere to go. PIPER is still settling in and can be a bit shy at first, but once she gets comfortable, she’s super friendly. She’s a bit picky when it comes to her dog friends, and she shouldn’t be around small dogs, cats, or young kids. What she really needs is a patient adopter willing to give her the time she needs to thrive. With some love and care, PIPER will be a loyal and amazing companion.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs. This screening process helps us to better match the dog with his or her furever home. - The dog will be microchipped for identification purposes. - You must sign a legal release form protecting you, Doberman Rescue League Inc. and the rescue dog. - If for any reason you must return the dog or the adopter fails to comply with Doberman Rescue League Inc. terms of adoption, WE WILL TAKE THE DOG BACK. YOU MAY NOT TRANSFER OWNERSHIP. **OUR RESCUE DOGS MUST BE KEPT AS AN INDOOR HOUSE PET.** - For the safety of the dog, heart worm preventative is required and we recommend that you follow a regular vaccine program established by your veterinarian to guarantee that your dog stays healthy. - Your dog must have a rabies shot and license in accordance with existing laws.
