Pip's Story
Pip is a 9-month-old, 15-pound sweetheart who came from a breeder/hoarding situation and has blossomed beautifully in his foster home. He has a naturally calm, gentle temperament and is not the wild, high-energy type.

He has lived with his littermate, Pauley, his whole life and they get along wonderfully, but Pip does not need to be adopted with his brother. He has the personality and confidence to flourish in his own home, and adopters should not feel obligated to take both boys. If you are interested in adopting both, the combined adoption fee is $495. Individual adoption fee is $295.

ABOUT PIP
Pip is the more sensitive, submissive sibling. He is a gentle little guy who warms up beautifully with kindness and routine. He loves being held, enjoys affection, and is learning that the world is a safe place. He thrives with patient people who speak softly, move kindly, and give him time to settle in.

TRAINING AND HOME LIFE
Pip is adjusting wonderfully to normal home life. He enjoys being outside, running in the yard, and relaxing inside with his foster family. He is still working on housetraining and will need continued patience, supervision, and consistency as he learns a new home and routine. He currently uses a pet door in his foster home, which has helped him understand that potty happens outdoors.

Like most puppies his age, Pip is still in the chewing stage and needs supervision. For his safety, he must be kept in an approved puppy playpen anytime he cannot be directly watched. A puppy pen provides a low-anxiety, safe space for him and helps him learn appropriate habits while keeping him secure.

Pip cannot be left home for long periods. As a young puppy, he needs the companionship, structure, and reassurance he did not receive in his previous home. He is still learning, still chewing, and still building confidence, so he needs adopters who are home more often to provide guidance and support.

PIP IS:
- Vet-checked
- Up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations
- Dewormed
- On heartworm and flea preventatives
- Neutered
- Microchipped

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- A fenced-in backyard suitable for small/medium dogs (no invisible fences)
- Someone home more often for companionship, training, and supervision
- No crating; adopters must use an approved puppy playpen
- Children age 7+ (younger considered case-by-case)
- Homes with no dogs or up to one small/medium dog

PLEASE GO TO OUR WEBSITE TO SEE HIS VIDEO AND TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION:
www.indianasaveadog.com
