PINTO - loves kids

Meet PINTO! Pinto means spot in Spanish and we named him just because of the two large light brown spots over his eyes.<br/><br/>***Pinto is being fostered in Pasadena, MD and is ready for meet and greets!***<br/><br/>Pinto is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs about 26 lbs as of August 8, 2026. We don't know his breed because we do not know his parents but we think he's a Lab/Shepherd mix. HellHe is a regal looking pup! He will probably be around 40 lbs full grown.<br/><br/>Pinto has SO many wonderful qualities! <br/><br/>He is excellent with children. He is currently in a foster home with 3 young children and has been absolutely wonderful with them all! Please see photos. He is sweet and tolerant. He just loves the attention of the kids. He warms up super quickly with everyone as well and is often caught giving people gentle little kisses. :) His foster says he loves to give and receive affection. He likes to be hugged and physically on someone and is super duper cuddly. <br/><br/>When new people come into the home, he is curious and sweet.<br/><br/>He loves the simple things in life such as cuddling up in a cozy blanket or sunbathing by the window as well! <br/><br/>He is a typical puppy with happy puppy energy. He loves her rope toy and loves to play tug of war with other dogs.<br/><br/>Pinto has a good balance of energy despite being a puppy. He can settle down and amuse himself with chew toys and does not seem to want to find things to destroy, for example.<br/><br/>He also sleeps completely throughout the night in his crate and is ok being in there during periods of the day as well. He only cries if he sees his foster eating while he is in there, but it's only a tiny whimper.<br/><br/>House-training wise, he is doing GREAT! He is still learning how to be perfect but he is well on his way. The foster puts down wee wee pads as back up and he will go on those if need be but he also goes outside.<br/><br/>We think Pinto would make an amazing family dog given his special and sweet personality!<br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about him!
