My story will break your heart but perhaps knowing some of the details would allow me to take credit for how far I've come in my healing journey. My future is bright with a forever family who will show me the grace, love and consistency I need for success. While I love to play with most other dogs, there are times when too much stimulation contributes to temporary insanity. My humans will need to read my clues and advocate for my needs. That may mean quiet time in a kennel or supervised couch snuggles. My walking skills are improving remarkably but there are days when I'll need shorter, more frequent walks as opposed to one long walk. When my forever family establishes a consistent routine for me, kindly redirects my missteps and constantly rewards my wins, my devotion, love and appreciation will overflow. Thanks to our amazing Angel Sponsors, our long term pups now come with reduced adoption fees, alleviating financial road blocks for some, and making it even easier to open your heart and home to a furry friend. The adoption fee is $100 plus tax and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission. If you have other
dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee. It may save you a trip to bring them with you
when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member.
*****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel. If you want to
meet this pet, please go to www.townandcountryhumanesociety.org and click Adopt. Then scroll down to
Online Application and select Dog Application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted
to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home. The introduction between you and the pet will be
supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster. If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. If
you have a dog or dogs currently, a meet and greet with the dog is also required but can be done at the same
time.
