Pinky's Story

Pinky is a 4-year-old Bully/Frenchie mix who was originally adopted in March 2024 and returned in December 2025 when her owners felt they no longer had the time or resources to care for her. She was returned to us just before Christmas, is sadly now underweight, and has skin issues consistent with allergies as well as being crated too much (without a blanket or bed) or made to live on hard floors. Thankfully, her foster is taking good care of her.

In her foster home, Pinky is crate trained and housebroken. She does okay with calm, passive dogs but a little too curious about the felines. She would really thrive as an only pet in her forever home. She is very quiet so shared walls would be fine and she can handle a workday with ease. She is non-destructive unless she deems you as her new favorite stuffy - and the squeaker has to go! She is a delight for walks, still working on perfecting those leash manners, but excited to explore the world and get plenty of sniffs on the way.

Pinky enjoys playing with toys and loves a good game of fetch. She has moderate energy and balances playtime with plenty of downtime. She is affectionate, enjoys cuddling, and seeks attention from her people. Pinky has a submissive demeanor with humans and does well with children. She was shyly roll over and show her belly for some belly rubs before getting the wiggles and climbing into your lap.

She would do best in a home looking for an easygoing, affectionate companion with some playful energy. She is really the best of both worlds!

Apply to adopt on our website:
https://applications.ildoberescue.com/plus/start

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1DXZ6VTiu7/

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/188teticTP/
