Pierre has already shown himself to be a confident, friendly boy who greets everyone he meets with joyful enthusiasm.<br/><br/>He's off to a great start in his foster home, riding nicely in the car, walking well on leash, and handling things like baths and ear cleanings like a total champ. He's also a big fan of mealtime and hasn't missed a dinner yet. He also has proven to get along well with the resident dog and learning how to play.<br/><br/>Right now, Pierre is focusing on getting healthy. He will need to be neutered and undergo airway surgery to help him breathe more comfortably. He's also starting a slow, healthy weight loss journey, as he came in a little overweight. With the right care and support, he's on track to feel his very best.<br/><br/>As Pierre settles in, we'll continue to learn more about how he does with children and new environments so we can find the perfect match for him.
