Phoenix has risen!

Sweet Phoenix was found in an abandoned building in Flint back in October with her five puppies. She was just a puppy herself, struggling to stay alive, and keep her babies alive. She was quite ill when taken to animal control but luckily we were able to get her out and get her the medical attention she needed.

Phoenix has risen from the ashes of her life on the street and had blossomed into a beautiful, sweet, funny, playful and goofy little girl. She is really a character. She loves playing and cuddling with her foster fur brother and would do well in a home with another dog that is submissive in play rather than dominant.

Don't let Phoenix's pictures fool you. She is actually a pint size little girl. She weighs in at about 40 pounds but is solid and a low rider. She still has some puppy energy but is also very chill and loves to cuddle.

She would do best in a home where people are around more than they are not and with children 8 and older.
