Meet Phineas!<br/><br/>Hey, where’s Phineas? Probably right next to you… ready to snuggle.<br/><br/>Phineas is a sweet, curious, and playful pup who lives for two things: being with his people and making the most of every moment. If you sit down, he’s already on his way. This little guy is a certified cuddle expert and will happily lay with you for hours while you binge your favorite shows.<br/><br/>But don’t let the snuggles fool you, Phineas has an adventurous side too. He loves exploring and romping around with other dogs, even ones way bigger than him. He doesn’t need a dog sibling, but he would absolutely thrive with a playful companion.<br/><br/>Phineas is still learning the ropes of puppy life. He’s working on house training, crate training, and leash manners, so he’ll need a patient home that understands accidents happen and is ready to help him grow. He can be a little shy at first with new people or dogs, but warms up quickly into the loving, affectionate boy he truly is.<br/><br/>What makes him special? He might just be the snuggliest puppy you’ll ever meet. And based on those floppy ears when he bounces around, we’re pretty sure his secret superpower is flight… or at least very enthusiastic “almost flying.”<br/><br/>Loves most: Snuggling, other dogs<br/>Energy Level: Medium<br/><br/>From Phineas:<br/>“I promise to be your best friend.”<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly companion with just the right mix of playful energy and couch potato vibes, Phineas is ready to be part of your everyday adventures 💛<br/><br/>Phineas is a male, Labrador retriever/pit bull terrier mix and born January 2026! He came to B&B with his littermates from a local shelter and is a part of our “Phineas & Ferb” litter! <br/><br/>He is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt Phineas, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.<br/><br/>Spay/Neuter Disclosure:<br/>Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age-appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
