Phil's Story
Phil is looking for a very special understanding home!

This almost 2 year old Frenchie was surrendered to a local shelter when his owners couldn't meet his needs. We have had extensive diagnostics done to get to the bottom of his chronic diarrhea issues and he does have fairly severe IBD which will require lifelong care to manage- multiple medications and a strict prescription diet. He's improved but still has softer more frequent stools and housebreaking may be a bit of a challenge.
Phil can be a little standoffish at first and undersocialized but a fun playful puppy once he bonds. He's not a bit cuddler and more independent with a mind of his own- handling has to be on his terms and he doesn't share his food and toys and prefers his space. He is looking for an experienced adult household to continue to work with him. No kitties for him, and he should be the only dog in the home. Please submit an application to give our special boy a chance Primary Color: Tan Age: 2yrs 0mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
