09/24/26. MEET OUR NEW LITTLE BOY — PHANTOM

Phantom is a beautiful 1-year-old mixed Doberman who was rescued as a stray after fending for himself.

Right now, he is extremely shut down and terrified. When we put a leash on him, he freezes and curls himself up. His fear has even caused him to lose control of his bowels or urinate.

But then we brought Bella out.

Almost instantly, we saw a different dog.

Phantom started acting like a puppy. He followed Bella, watched her, and seemed to gain a little confidence simply by having another dog beside him.

Phantom doesn’t need to be rushed. He needs love, trust, patience, and time.

And we have all of that.

Our volunteers will spend time with him, slowly earning his trust and showing him that people can be kind—and that he is finally safe.

And along the way, our rescue Dobermans will help teach him something too:

Life doesn’t have to be scary anymore.

Welcome to the Doberman Rescue Leagu
