Meet PETUNIA
Petunia is a two-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound, and a bit on the smaller side at 40 lbs. She seems to have a pretty ideal balance of goofy energy and knowing when to flip the chill switch. Her backstory is clouded in mystery, we've heard rumors of her becoming part of a group of fearsome female Cossack warriors from the steppes of eastern Russia? She was given the name Petunia, which means.... Petunia. If true, she seems to have left that life behind and wants only to better the lives of the lucky soul(s) that take her home.The Haywood County Animal Services Adoption Center is located at 453 Jones Cove Road, Clyde, NC 28721. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 12pm - 5pm and Saturday 12pm - 4pm. Closed Sundays.
