Meet Petra
Meet Petra!
Petra is an approximately 13-month old Cattle Dog/Red Heeler/Husky mix and will weigh around 40-50 lbs. as an adult (best guess). She was rescued after being abandoned at a truck stop.
Petra is an active pup who will need an engaging owner! She is not the type to lay around all day. Even at her young age, her herding and chasing qualities show! She is super smart and would be a dream to train. She is focused on her person but also loves other dogs.
She loves kids, but, as is usual with her herding breed, tends to be mouthy, something to consider with small children. Petra has an endearing personality and is sweet-natured and cuddly. Very friendly and outgoing.
Petra sleeps in a crate a night and does wonderful. She does well in the car and is working on house training. She will need continued assistance with house and leash training.
Petra is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $225.
