Petey (public rehoming)'s Story
Petey is being rehomed by a member of the public. If you are interested in adopting Petey, please contact Amy at alohaamy21@gmail.com. Below is the information they provided.

Petey was found by Lago Vista animal control around January of this year. They said he had an unregistered microchip from San Antonio about ten years ago. A kind neighbor picked him up after seeing him on Facebook. She updated his shots and Petey proceeded to be a typical Jack Russell by chasing after rats and tearing apart her cabinetry. Petey was on the hunt when the man of the household reached behind a chair to plug in a light and Petey bit him on his finger, requiring stitches. He was put in another temporary home, and they've had Petey since September and he’s been hunting in their backyard and humping the big golden lab who puts up with it to a point. Petey doesn’t like being woken up or asked to get off beds and bares his teeth and growls like an angry old man. Petey is kennel trained using the words “get in your kennel” every night. He is very scared of storms and will pace back and forth yelping so loudly nobody can sleep. He’s super cute and friendly and can’t wait to see his people and say hi when they get home. He’s snuggly but only if he’s really tired. He has a lot of energy. He is over ten years old and has typical deteriorating eyesight but is otherwise well and has all shots up to date. He's not for everyone, but for a person who understands Jack Russells and is willing to let him be who he knows he is, he would be a confident companion.

Petey is being rehomed by a member of the public.
