PETEY - PERFECT

Meet PETEY! <br/><br/>***Petey is being fostered in Baltimore and is ready for a meet and greet with potential adopters!***<br/><br/>Petey is about 35 lbs about 3 years old. While we don't know his breed, we think he's a Lab/shepherd mix, among many other breeds! If we may say, he is STUNNING! He is a unique looking guy, with little Jack Russel fold over ears and a speckled body. <br/><br/>Petey's foster says he is truly the ABSOLUTE BEST dog! He cannot say enough good things about him. He is a 10/10 dog.<br/><br/>To start, he is great with everyone! He loves ALL people - men, women and kids! No preferences. He's been around a child as young as 2 years old and was great with him. <br/><br/>He is playful and loves his toys! He loves his squeaky toys and enjoys having someone throw the toy for him to chase. Now, will he bring it back? Not always! But he enjoys the chase! He also loves his rope and Kong toys.<br/><br/>He has a wonderful balanced personality and energy level. His foster is an active person who has taken him on runs and long walks and he likes it! His foster lives in Baltimore (no backyard). Petey would of course not object to having a yard of his own but it's certainly not a requirement as he would be happy going on neighborhood walks as well! Petey equally enjoys his downtime, lazing on his bed next to your feet. He'd be a great work-from-home companion as he is quiet, easy going and well-behaved.<br/><br/>Petey doesn't have any separation anxiety either! He's currently being left alone for several days for a full work day, uncrated, and relaxes the whole time, occasionally getting a drink of water. He doesn't get into anything, has never destroyed anything, and is completely well behaved. His foster originally crated him out of habit but then decided to see what would happen if he left him uncrated....and nothing happened! So, he has wholly earned being uncrated going forward!<br/><br/>He is also 100% housetrained! No accidents at all in the house even on days he is left alone. <br/><br/>At night, he sleeps next to his foster in his own doggie bed and sleeps soundly throughout the night. <br/><br/>He is excellent in car. No throwing up! He's a great traveler.<br/><br/>He's also great with other dogs! During his walks, he wants to say hi to all the dogs he meets!<br/><br/>He is neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and fecal negative.<br/><br/>Please note his adoption fee is $550.
