Petey

Petey is a sweet 5 year old Frenchie who came to us in rough shape. After years of chronic ear infections, he ended up with a severely abscessed ear, ruptured canal, and his entire face swolled and painful from a massive life-threatening infection, unable to eat. After hospitalization and heavy duty antibiotics he's on the mend, more comfortable and the swelling has gone down. Because of the prolonged untreated infections he does need ear ablation surgery to finally get him comfortable and out of pain, and will be getting that done soon. We are hoping to get him settled into a local foster to care for him as he continues to recover. He does have chronic dry eye and is on eye medication longterm. He's a quiet gentle soul despite his discomfort and would like a calm home to recover.
