He's easy to handle on leash, responds well to gentle guidance, and prefers to focus on his adventure rather than every person or dog he passes. If he really likes you, he may get so excited that he sneaks in a little jump to say hello: he's still a young guy, after all! Because of this, obedience classes would be a fantastic way to help him polish his manners while strengthening his bond with his new family.<br/><br/>Petey has a medium energy level, making him the perfect balance of playtime and relaxation. He'll enjoy daily walks, enrichment activities, and opportunities to use his brain, but he's not looking to run a marathon every day. After some fun, he's more than happy to settle in and enjoy time with his people.<br/><br/>We think Petey could thrive in a home with dog-savvy children who understand how to respectfully interact with dogs. He may also be able to share his home with another well-mannered canine companion. While he's comfortable around other dogs, he hasn't shown much interest in joining the doggy social club just yet as he'd rather focus on his human friends!<br/><br/>Petey's journey is just beginning, and his future is incredibly bright.
