Meet Petey

Petey oh Petey.. what a sweetheart... He is basically a snuggle bug and is super friendly with all ages. He currently resides with his foster family and aviary friends. He sleeps through the night with his humans and wakes up mid morning. He has had no accidents in the middle of the night, or in the house for that matter - this sweet boy is fully housebroken.

His week day job is Supervisor of the House. While his fosters work and school, he visits each one to make sure every thing is in order. He keeps himself busy inside, likes to run around the yard, and take naps when he tires himself out.

Do you like hiking? Walks? Jogging? Meet your outdoor partner here. He's been getting 3-4 mile jogs at the park a day and he loves it. He enjoys playing with other dogs and especially playing fetch with his humans. He is an active dog and would love to join an active family. It would be a bonus if he would have another active fur sibling to live with.

He is basically all around fun to be with and a well mannered guy. He is deaf but that doesn't hinder him in any way. He can hear very high pitches. We will have him evaluated by a vet and will have more information soon.

Will you give this sweet boy a 2nd chance with a forever home, safe and loved?
He does well with large dogs.
He would not do well in an apartment.

Adoption Fee: $400
San Francisco Bay Area adoption only.
If you would like to meet Petey, please apply at http://www.lovewoof.org/our-animals: .

Adoption Process:
Once an adoption counselor receives and approves your application, they will contact you (only if you match the animal's needs) to set up an appointment to meet the dog you applied for and/or any of the other dogs in the rescue. If the dog you applied for is not a good match for your particular situation, there might be others that are better matches.

Adoption Fees:
Adoption fees allow WOOF Animal Rescue to continue to provide care and medical treatment (including spay/neuter services) for dogs while we look for their forever homes. The fees also helps cover the ongoing costs of caring for less adoptable dogs that require longer stays in the rescue, or more advanced medical treatment before finding their forever homes.

WOOF Animal Rescue, in Fremont CA, does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and rabies shots appropriate for their age, dewormed and microchipped.
