Meet Peter
Peter is a purebred Schnauzer that is estimated to be between 5-7 years old and weighs about 20 Lbs. He was found as a stray near Rincon , PR so we do not know what his story is but his story will begin with Punta Santiago Dogs. He is the sweetest guy that is happy to cuddle in your lap, go outside and lounge around or socialize with his dogs friends. He is good with dogs of all sizes and has been around infants to adults with no issues. He is crate trained and house trained but may need to wear a bellyband when acclimating to a new house. He is a super easy dog that is only looking to please and loves affection.
We are currently looking for a foster to adopt situation with someone who lives close to Chester , NJ so we can continue with medical follow ups with our vets at Black River Vet which will be covered by Punta Santiago Dogs . Overall , Peter is in good health but he has a slow heart rate which we are waiting for him to be able to get an EKG for. We will consider adopters who are not local if they are willing to continue his medical care with their own financial resources.
To apply to Foster to Adopt Peter please fill out an application at bit.ly/PSDAdopt
If you wish to meet them or find out more about them that is not included in their profile, please fill out our adoption application at http://bit.ly/PSDAdopt and our adoption counselor will contact you as soon as possible.
If they are listed on PetFinder, they have not yet been adopted. We take them off PetFinder when we have received enough applications, but that does not mean they have been adopted.
