Peter has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. He's just as happy exploring the yard as he is curling up for a nap beside his favorite people.<br/><br/>This sweet boy is inquisitive, responsive, and loves being part of whatever you're doing. He enjoys snuggling, following his humans around, and quietly keeping you company. Peter has a wonderful balance of playfulness and relaxation, making him an easy fit for many different types of homes.<br/><br/>He's currently working on house training, crate training, and leash manners, and is taking puppy life one day at a time. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required neuter when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
