Persephone

Persephone is sweet, happy-go-lucky, and incredibly loving. She is an approximately 4-month-old, 24 pound English Sheepdog/Poodle mix. She still has growing to do and will likely be on the larger end of the scale when full grown. <br/><br/>Having been born in an Amish puppy mill, it has been wonderful to watch Persephone learn how to dog. She has already mastered navigating stairs, enjoying car rides, and going in and out of the house. She is also doing well with potty training and has learned to eat comfortably in her crate. In terms of socialization, she does well with cats, other dogs, and children and has recently discovered the joy of playing with both dog and cat toys.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $500 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.<br/><br/>STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs.
