Perfect River

This absolutely gorgeous, wonderful young gentleman is River! Rivers owner got him as a baby and raised him with lots of love and socialization. Unfortunately they lost their home and were forced to move into a small apartment where dogs were not allowed, so with broken hearts had to surrender him to the pound. Thankfully volunteers met this guy and everyone immediately loved him as hes such a wonderful dog!! A great foster home thankfully welcomed this boy until he finds his dream home!<br/>River is 18 months old and currently weighs 48 lbs, he is expected to be about 55 lbs at full maturity. We have taken him to the vets and hes been amazing! Hes now current on all vaccines, deworming, preventative, and hes tested negative for heartworm! He has also been microchipped and neutered, and is ready to begin his next chapter! <br/>This sweet boy has adjusted to foster care beautifully, in fact hes a pretty perfect guy! He immediately made friends with the foster homes dogs, and has proceeded to participate in play groups with various dogs and he is incredible with everyone! Large or small, male or female, he is a friend to all. He loves to meet new pups and super loves to have playmates! He is very submissive with cats and follows their cues and if anything avoids them, hes been fabulous with them as well. As he had the history of a loving home, his house manners have been great as well, he wouldnt even have an accident in the runs at the pound! He has reliably held it and gone potty outside. Hes an easy keeper with a heart of gold. He absolutely looooooves people of all ages, and will enjoy any activity youd like to do. Hes excellent in the car, good on a leash, likes hikes, water, and anywhere else youd like to take him. Hes a super snuggler and will also enjoy parents who would like a pup to snuggle up on the sofa with them and cuddle at night. Hell be great with any combination of animals, and any combination of people.
