This affectionate, playful, snuggly, brave one year old is moderate energy with a lovely mix of people-oriented and independent — brave and curious around other animals, yet deeply respectful and gentle with humans. She's a total love bug with people, happy to lie against your back or settle into your lap for as long as you'll let her, and she's great with other dogs, playful with a bit of an alpha streak. She does well when left alone, showing real independence and respect for the home, and she's fully crate trained. Her leash skills are coming along nicely (she's still working on not getting tangled), she knows "come here" and "let's go," and responds beautifully to her name.<br/><br/>Pepper's days follow a happy rhythm: a morning pee break, breakfast, a walk and play session, and lots of playtime with her son Bert, who she's been fostered alongside — she's often seen gently teaching him boundaries while they play, a sweet dynamic her foster loves watching. She's currently learning sit and stay, and is very food and consistency motivated. She loves stuffed toys and a good chase or play-fight session, staying active in the mornings before settling into a snuggly, chill afternoon. Pepper would do best in an active-to-moderate household with another dog for company.
