She is, however, quite fearful of strangers and new situations. She will need an adopter who can work patiently with her to build her confidence over time. For the right person willing to put in that patient, consistent work, Pepper will blossom into a wonderful, loyal companion. She has not yet been spayed, but AGR will handle having this procedure done when she is of age.

If you are interested in adopting this dog or any other available AGR dogs, and want to know more about the process, please
. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUTSIDE OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA. Once we receive your application, a home visit will be scheduled. When your home visit is approved, you will be placed on our waiting list. Our sole purpose is to find the perfect home for the dog as the dog always comes first. Prior to adoption, all AGR dogs are given a full vet exam, including valley fever and heartworm tests, brought up to date on all vaccinations, given a microchip, neutered or spayed, and treated for any medical problems.
