If you're looking for a loyal little shadow who will stick by your side through it all, this sweet girl is ready to fill that role with her whole heart. She is incredibly attentive to her surroundings and naturally wants to keep an eye on her people, making her feel like your very own guardian angel.<br/><br/>Despite her watchful nature, Peppa is truly a lover-girl at heart. She absolutely adores affection and believes she is a lap dog, happily curling up beside you or climbing in your lap whenever given the chance. Cuddles are her favorite pastime, and she is perfectly content spending her days relaxing close to her favorite human. While she isn't overly interested in toys or play yet, she is very motivated by food and love, which makes bonding with her easy and rewarding.<br/><br/>Peppa is already potty trained and does well when left home alone, where she is calm and trustworthy in a room or apartment. She may whine a little if kenneled at first, but she settles with time and tends to prefer having a bit more freedom. On walks, Peppa can get excited and may pull or show interest in chasing small critters, but she is smart and eager for treats, so continued training will go a long way.<br/><br/>She already knows “sit” and is ready to keep learning. With her sweet, affectionate personality and deep loyalty, Peppa is ready to give endless love to the person lucky enough to call her their own.<br/><br/>Peppa was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.<br/><br/>Meet and greets are by appointment only. Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog.<br/> If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded.<br/> Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance. We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect). Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.<br/> The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. <br/> More questions?
