Peppa Pit Bull Terrier Indianapolis, IN

Meet Peppa! We call her Peppa because she reminds us of Peppa the Pig- short and stout, snorty and always wiggling her tail.
When you think of the ideal dog, Peppa is just that. Perfectly trained, housebroken, fantastic with other dogs and the ultimate companion. You’ve never met a dog who just wants to love you more while still being incredibly well behaved. She is relaxed, plays independently and is just a happy happy gal. She LOVES to go on walks but if you can’t squeeze one in during the day, she won’t hold it against you. She will go with whatever your flow is, and we can’t express enough what an incredible companion she is.
We aren’t sure what Peppa thinks of crates because honestly, we just haven’t needed to. She sleeps on the couch and is perfectly content/well behaved but we think she would do fine if you find one necessary.
When Peppa came to us, it was thought she had hypothyroidism due to her weight and skin. Turns out, she does not and has a clean bill of health from the vet! She does need to lose a little bit of weight, so she is on a lower calorie diet and getting supplements to help her skin. She doesn’t have much fur on parts of her body- it may or may not grow back but she’s adorable nonetheless.
At the shelter, Peppa was separated from her 15 yr old companion due to no fault of her own. In fact, her owner did not want to give them up but had no choice because of housing restrictions. Peppa is a senior girl and she deserves to live the best of the rest of her years.
