Meet Penny Gene

Penny came to us as an emaciated one year old English bulldog with a severe UTI or so we thought. while she was skinny, she wasnt emaciated, but the UTI was real. It is very likely this UTI came from another fact we didnt know. Penny is incontinent and has likely lived her life in diapers in a cage. Its possible this incontinence is caused by the same thing causing her back left leg to not function.
But all of that isnt Penny. Penny is a very happy girl who does like her crate, but she loves going outside and running. Yes, running. She enjoys her squeaker toys and will drive her foster crazy squeaking away out of pure enjoyment of life. She is curious about everything life has to offer. Shes never met a stranger and has gotten along great with every dog shes ever met (not cat tested).
Penny is one who will need a lot of patience and understanding as any incontinent pup would, which is why we usually dont take these cases, but, as her UTI clears up, her personality is showing how special a case she is.
