Penny's Story

Penny’s a 4yo (DOB 2/16/22) 26lb (is on a diet and losing) Chiweenie. She’s dog, cat and kid friendly. She’s housebroken when kept on a schedule, pee pad and crate trained. She’s good in a secure fenced in yard and/or going for harnessed leashed walks. She takes a little time to warm up to new people and environments but once she does, she loves to be with her people getting tons of love, attention, cuddles and pets.

Penny’s foster requires a where they will continue to help her on her weight loss journey so she will be healthy. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Penny as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Penny’s spayed, vaccinated, HW negative and microchipped. Currently in Southampton, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
