Meet Penny
Penny is an 8-year-old girl who is friendly and fun. Her story is a bit sad. She had a devoted owner, but her owner had to go to the hospital and now will have to enter assisted living. Penny can't go with her. The veterinary hospital where Penny stayed for months asked us to take Penny to find her happily-ever-after.
Penny is good with other dogs and loves everyone she meets. She may be eight, but she has plenty of spunk and get up and go. She's happy to go for walks with you. She's also happy to chill out with for some snuggle time.
Penny does have cataracts and her vision is likely pretty cloudy. She does see and she navigates well. She is not in any sort of pain or discomfort. She could have surgery to remove the cataracts, but that is outside of our ability at this time. Penny is very happy and healthy despite this little handicap.
