Meet Penny — 14 years young and still ready for her next adventure!<br/><br/>Don’t let the number fool you. At 14 years old and just over 10 pounds, Penny may qualify as a senior, but this little Rat Terrier still has plenty of enthusiasm for life. Say the word “walk” or reach for the leash, and Penny is ready to go! She loves taking her time sniffing and exploring the world around her. <br/><br/>Penny came to Imagine FURever Ranch after losing someone very special. She was deeply loved by her previous person and was described as his best friend, always by his side whether they were relaxing on the couch or settling into bed. After he passed away, Penny and her housemate, Jenny, needed somewhere new to land. <br/><br/>The girls arrived at The Ranch together, and while we would love to see Penny and Jenny find a FURever HOME together if the right family comes along, they are not a bonded pair and can be adopted separately. Because each girl deserves her own chance to be seen and loved for exactly who she is, we’ll be introducing and promoting them individually.<br/><br/>What Penny needs now is pretty simple: someone to love, a comfy place to curl up, and plenty of opportunities to hear her favorite word...<br/>WALK! <br/><br/>At 14, Penny has already experienced a lot of life and a difficult goodbye.
