**Two Year Old Shepherd Mix Seeking Furry Best Friend with a Patient Human Family**

I never thought I’d be the type of dog to take out a personal ad, but here goes nothing!

About Me: My name is Penny, and I’m looking for a canine friend to hang out with! I know most of you probably take care of some humans too, and I’m good with that (even the tiny ones!) as long as they’re easy going. I’m a bit of a nervous nellie and I need lots of time and space to warm up to new people and things. But once I do, I give the world’s best cuddles! My foster humans named me Penny because I was so lucky to have been pulled out of a bad situation by Second City - my first family had to give me up after a flood and I got out of the shelter in the nick of time! I only weigh about 40 pounds so I won’t take up much space on the couch. (I hope there is a couch, that’s my favorite napping spot!) I’m also a champ when it comes to hanging out in my crate, and going potty outside. I also barely ever bark… you’ll hardly even know I’m even there! I’m not very interested in toys, so I won’t even try to borrow any of yours.

About You: I would really like to find a confident furry friend who will let me hang out with them 24/7. I find being around other dogs really calming, and it helps me open up. I’m a very smart, loving, sweet girl…I just really need a four legged mentor to show me how great the doggie lifestyle can be!
