Penny's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Penny's story is one of the quiet ones.
At just a little over a year old, Penny should be discovering the world with confidence. Instead, she spent the beginning of her life in a hoarding situation where she was overlooked, bullied by the other dogs, and never learned what it felt like to simply be safe.
She learned to make herself small. To stay out of the way. To expect that someone else would always get the food, the attention, or the gentle touch.
Today, Penny is free—but she's still carrying pieces of that past. She's timid and cautious, watching from a distance before deciding if she can trust. Every soft word, every kind hand, every cozy bed is something completely new to her.
What Penny needs isn't someone looking for the life of the party. She needs someone willing to celebrate the little victories: the first tail wag, the first time she asks for a cuddle, the first time she realizes she's finally home.
The dog who was picked on deserves to be someone's favorite.
With patience, love, and a gentle heart, Penny will discover that she never has to fight for her place again. She'll finally know what it's like to be cherished instead of forgotten.
Could you be the person who rewrites the rest of Penny's story?
