This adorable Shih Tzu was released by a breeder and arrived pregnant. Her puppies are now weaned and have found their forever homes. Penne is so ready to find her home. She is shy, but is the best girl. At her foster home, she went outside and pottied. While we won't say she's housebroken, she did very well in that department.<br/><br/>Penne lived in a foster home before her pups were born and until they were weaned. Read below to see what her foster family had to say about her...<br/><br/>Penne (we call her "Penny") has never lived in a home before and is working hard at figuring it all out. <br/><br/>She has a healthy appetite and her favorite treat, so far, has been pig ears. Before giving birth and beginning her "mom duties" she spent much of her day napping or voluntarily lying in her crate enjoying a chew. Penne is not overly sensitive to sounds like the television, the dishwasher or noisy teenage girls. However, doorways and sudden movements are still a little bit scary.<br/><br/>She has a bit of curl to her hair and it is so soft. She has the sweetest eyes and looks like an adorable stuffed animal. <br/><br/>Penne sleeps quietly through the night and greets us with a happy, wagging tail each morning. She is catching on quickly with potty training and follows our resident dogs outside and back in. While they don't "play" together she does seem to watch them for cues and often chooses to lay near them. While she might enjoy another dog, it is not a requirement for her.<br/><br/>With time, patience and love, she will be the perfect companion.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE: $750<br/><br/>To adopt the FIRST STEP is to complete an APPLICATION. <br/><br/>Adopters must be 24 years of age. We can not adopt to families with children under the age of six. We also only adopt in WI, IL, and parts of MN.
