Penelope

Penelope is a sweet, cuddly fluff ball with short spurts of energy and playfulness. Her favorite thing right now is chasing leaves outside and watching birds on the bird feeder. She is kennel trained, although we gate an area overnight and leave her kennel open, but she does not whine or bark. Penelope has been around two 1 year olds and is gentle with them. On walks she doesn’t bark at people or other dogs and enjoys the occasional stranger approach of getting petted and loved on. She is slowly getting better about walks (the only issue is walking under our legs and going back and forth between the road and grass) but is all puppy behavior and she is already improving! Penelope likes to dig when there is dirt so she is a little stinker about non grassy areas. She is whiny in a vehicle at first but is getting better with that too, she will whine for about 5 mins and then fall asleep for the rest of the ride. Penelope would be well fitted for a fenced in yard as she loves to lay out in the grass and chase leaves and would probably be out there for hours if we let her.<br/><br/>Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
