Penelope is a sweet girl with a mischievous streak. She loves any kind of game that involves running whether it be chasing a ball or another dog. Another favorite for her is tug of war. She will grab a rope or leash and pull as hard as she can. She doesnt care whether there is a dog attached to the other end of the leash or rope. Her favorite chew toy is a piece of firewood. Penelope is kennel trained and does well entering the kennel on command. Penelope is house trained and will bark to let you know she wants outside. She has been using the doggie door without issue. Penelope is a fence jumper; she will require a fence that is at least six feet tall. We found out the hard way a five-foot fence just wont do for this spirited girl. She has shown some grumbling when other dogs approach her when she has food or when she is in the kennel otherwise, she has been friendly towards both male and female dogs in the house. Penelope walks well on a leash once you let her know it is not time to play with the leash. She has learned the command "sit" pretty well and is learning others.
