To know Penelope is to love her. This girl is an absolute dream dog. When she arrived at her foster home, she immediately showed so much trust and friendliness to everyone she met. Her bouncy happy demeanor just shines through and her entire back end wiggles when she sees you. We think she even smiles a bit as she turns up the corner of her mouth when she's especially happy.
She loves to run and play but could not be more gentle. This sweet SC girl has manners! She never jumps up on you, takes treats very carefully and rarely barks. She also is an angel in the house - no chewing, no accidents, etc.
Penelopes loves to sunbathe and help with yard work so a fenced in yard is a must. She's playful but also curls right up on the couch to snuggle. She really just wants a family to be near and love.
Amazingly, she sleeps through the night like a champ without a peep. There are honestly no negative things to say about Penelope.
To top it all off, she's gorgeous with one blue eye and one brown. She can look slightly intimidating but she is nothing but a big pile of love and sweetness. We think she'd do just fine with another dog because she gets really excited when she sees her reflection in the window, only to be disappointed that she isn't another dog to play with!
