PENELOPE 080-26's Story

Penelope is an adorable 2-year-old dog, weighing a healthy 24 pounds. With her gentle spirit, she radiates sweetness and simply longs for love and companionship. She has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations, and is microchipped. Additionally, she has tested negative for both heartworm and Lyme disease, ensuring she’s in great health. This charming pup has a friendly disposition, getting along well with most other dogs and all humans she meets. Although she initially struggled with leash walking—having never encountered one before—she has made impressive progress and now walks with only minimal issues. Penelope is a bundle of joy who loves to run and play in an energetic burst of enthusiasm. After her playful adventures, she enjoys curling up next to her humans for some cozy cuddles, soaking in all the affection she can get. With resilience that shines through, she refuses to let her past define her and is determined to embrace a bright and happy future. As a full-grown dog, she has reached her adult size and is not expected to grow any larger.<br/>*Interested in adopting? * To take the first step towards bringing this lovely dog into your home, please complete our online application at https://www.guernseycountydogshelter.com/ or click the round purple button to access it.
