She is a 1.5 year old, 34 lb Portuguese Water Dog with a brown curly coat and pretty green/hazel eyes.<br/><br/>She is a little bit excitable at the moment, as she has not received much formal training yet and needs an experienced dog person who is able to devote the time to mold her into the dog she can become.<br/><br/>She's great with kids, gets along with all dogs so far, and is fully crate-trained and working on leash and car skills. She is currently staying at a foster home in Sierra Vista.<br/><br/>---<br/><br/>All of our dogs at Blue Star are microchipped, up-to-date on shots, and young puppies always get a vet exam. We deworm every month, give heartworm treatment on the 1st of every month, and our puppies and dogs all go home with a gallon bag of transition food and a few toys. We can also provide leashes and collars on request!<br/><br/>As of 2026, all dogs are adopted with a strict spay/neuter contract overseen by our contracting partner, SpaySecure.<br/><br/>Please note: We generally follow the adoption fees set each year by Big Dog Ranch in FL & AL.<br/><br/>For serious inquiries only, please apply ONLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT THIS WEEK!
