Meet Pelican! Pelican came to CCHS with his 3 siblings earlier this April from a local farm. This handsome Heeler mix is about 11 weeks old and weighs roughly 23.4lbs currently. Pelican is a confident little guy! He has very little fears, however whenever he comes across one, he knows to grab a trusted adult to face it first! While we aren't entirely certain what his exact breed makeup is, we can tell you that he is 100% Bold Buffoon! With any puppy, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
