Peggy Sue

Peggy Sue is a 1 year old bundle of love! She was found as a stray in TN by one of our southern rescue partners . She recently lost a leg, but she still gets around just fine!. She is super sweet with all men, women and children. At 25 lbs, she is the perfect lap dog, but also loves to socialize and explore. Peggy Sue loves all dogs; big and small and would enjoy sharing a home with another dog. She seems interested in the cats she has met, but hasn't shown any signs of a prey drive yet. She is crate trained, house trained with a doggy door and walks well on leash. <br/><br/>Peggy Sue is looking for a home that can give her the time and attention that she so deserves. She is happy, healthy, and equally ready for adventures as well as some cuddle time. This is a great dog that will be a wonderful companion for someone willing to open their home and heart to her. You must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.<br/>All dogs are up to date on their sots, dewormed and spayed or neutered.<br/>Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee.<br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue makes all of the transportation arrangements.<br/><br/>Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs.<br/>Any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the South and will prefer to do their business outdoors.<br/><br/>Our dogs and pups are best suited for families with children 5 yrs old
