Pearl's Story
At just about a year old, Pearl the beautiful Great Pyrenees/ Retriever mix is the definition of a soft soul. With her creamy coat and kind eyes, she’ll catch your attention—but it’s her quiet sweetness that will truly steal your heart.

She’s a shy girl who is still learning that the world is a safe and loving place. New people, environments, and sudden changes can feel overwhelming at first, so she’ll need a patient and understanding home willing to give her the time and space she needs to truly blossom. But here’s the magic: once she trusts you, you’ll get to watch her open up little by little—and it’s something really special to see.

In a calm, predictable environment, she thrives. She would do best in a quieter home where routines are consistent and life moves at a gentler pace. A fenced yard would be ideal for her, giving her a safe space to explore without fear when something startles her.

She’s wonderfully well-mannered in the home and walks beautifully on leash—sticking close by your side and matching your pace. She enjoys her outdoor time, soaking up the sunshine or strolling along on peaceful walks. She’s also beginning to discover just how nice affection can be, and once she feels secure, she absolutely melts into pets and belly rubs.

She’s not the kind of dog who will be everyone’s best friend right away—but for the person willing to earn her trust, she will be deeply loyal and incredibly rewarding. Watching her confidence grow is like watching a flower bloom. This sweet girl really enjoys hanging out with other dogs, and will get rough and tumble when she is comfortable!

If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and a quiet home to offer, she just might be your perfect match.

Adoption fee: $300

Apply to adopt here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/AGAR/Dog

Questions?
