Pearl's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, I'm Pearl! I ended up at a shelter with my littermates at just 6 weeks old, luckily we were all rescued and now I am in a SPIN foster home with one of my brothers.

I'm now almost 3 months old and ready for a forever family. I'm a Great Pyrenees mix, currently weigh 25lbs but when I grow up I'll probably weigh 75-85lbs. My eyes are a beautiful brown! I have an all-white fluffy long coat with the most adorable golden ears and patch over my eye. My patches make me even cuter because one set of my eyelashes are white and the other matches my patch and they are tan! I still have the pinkest paws and my belly has freckles. I'll happily show you my belly for belly rubs and sometimes I sleep with all my legs straight up in the air.

I love playing with toys and really really love chasing my puppy brother. I love playing chase so much that I cut my paw on a gutter spout which led me to missing a toe, but you can't tell and I don't even notice! I can get vocal when I play because I love it so much!

My foster mom has been really working with me to be crate and potty trained. So far, I've been great about my crate and go in no problem for a treat. I'm still working on getting potty trained but am learning! I do know how to 'Sit' for a treat, sometimes I get really excited for the treat and forget that I'm supposed to sit. I love walks but could use some more practice on the leash.

I love a good cuddle and will come running to you for pets with my tail wagging. I once spent the weekend with little kids and had a great time; gave out lots of face kisses.

I love car rides but they make me sleepy, so I usually fall asleep within 10 minutes. I haven't ever been swimming but I sometimes splash in my water bowl and stick my whole face in the water. My recent favorite hangout spot has been the empty bathtub, it's my very own fort.

If you want to know anything else about me, just reach out to Saving Pyrs In Need (SPIN) Rescue! I can't wait to meet you!

xoxo Pearl

-- Pearl is currently in a foster home in DFW area of Texas. Out of state applicants are responsible for arranging transport as we don't provide any. Pearl is officially available for pick up May 22nd, but we are taking adoption applications now. Her adoption fee is $300. Her forever home MUST have another dog to play with her and teach manners.

Apply to adopt at www.spinrescue.org
