Pearl's Story

Meet Pearl!

Pearl is a stunning 2-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog weighing 51 pounds, with a personality as beautiful as her unique blue merle coat. This happy girl has never met a stranger-she absolutely loves everyone she meets and greets new friends with full-body wiggles, a big smile, and endless enthusiasm!

Sadly, Pearl's story could have ended very differently. She was facing euthanasia before being given a second chance, and now she's hoping to find the loving forever family she deserves. Despite everything she's been through, Pearl hasn't let it dim her spirit. She continues to greet the world with joy, optimism, and an incredible capacity for love.

Pearl is playful, affectionate, and always ready for fun. Whether she's exploring the outdoors, playing with her favorite toys, or soaking up attention from her people, she approaches life with excitement and enthusiasm. Her cheerful personality is contagious, and she's sure to brighten even the toughest days.

As much as Pearl loves adventures, she is a strong girl who can pull on leash when she's excited. She will need a family committed to continuing her leash training and helping her develop good walking manners. With consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement, she has all the potential to become an amazing companion.

Pearl does best as the only pet in the home. She has been working hard on her dog reactivity while in our care, and we are so proud of the progress she's making. We've been practicing calmly walking past and seeing other dogs, and she is learning to redirect her focus with treats and toys instead of reacting. While she still has work to do, she has come a long way and will benefit from continued training and consistency in her forever home. We truly believe Pearl has incredible potential, and with the right family committed to helping her continue building her confidence, she will thrive.

What Pearl wants most is simple: a family to call her own. A family that will cherish her goofy wiggles, laugh at her playful antics, and give her the chance to finally settle into the happy life she's been waiting for.

Pearl has already beaten the odds. Now all she needs is someone willing to give her the forever home she deserves. Could that be you?
