Peanut 's Story

Meet Peanut! This lanky, athletic pup is super smart, thoughtful, social, playful, and adventurous, and she cannot wait to find her furever family! She is approximately 7 months old as of April 1st. She was born late 2025 in Todos Santos, Baja Mexico, and was rescued around 2-3 months old. Peanut has lived in foster care since her rescue, and was recently relocated with a foster family in Washington State. She currently weighs around 35lbs but we do estimate she will be a medium/large dog around 50lbs when fully grown. Peanut is currently available for meet & greets in Everett, Washington where her foster family lives.

Peanut rides well in the car and is house trained. She is kennel trained too, and knows some basic commands as well. Peanut is now being fostered here in the PNW, and she loves to romp, run, & chase balls, and she loves playing with her dog buddies. This inquisitive girl loves going on walks and car rides, and she gets to hang out at her foster family’s office during the week. Oh, and she is the best couch snuggler ever! Peanut would be the perfect companion for any family with or without other dogs, and she would fit right in with a family who has a dog (or dogs!) that need a new best friend and playmate. FYI: She lived in a house with a cat, but they weren’t formally introduced.

All of Saving Baja Paws dogs come with a fantastic flexible foster-to-adopt option. This is a unique opportunity that allows your family to make sure it a perfect match with your new pup.

Peanut's adoption fee for Oregon, Washington, or California is $250usd. This helps us cover most of her vet and care costs incurred in Mexico, and the transport fee to bring our pups over 1,500 miles to the PNW. All our dogs come spay or neutered, with all theirs shots for the year, and have had multiple blood tests done prior to entering the USA from Mexico.

All our pups come fully up to date on shots, are tested for heartworm and other diseases, microchipped, fecal tested, current on flea medications, and also come spayed / neutered.
Please Apply >> savingbajapaws.org/application
