Peanut's Story

Peanut is a 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix with the sweetest little soul. She may be shy when you first meet her, but give her a little time and patience, and she’ll gently blossom into the most loving, loyal companion you could ask for. Once she feels safe, Peanut becomes a total sweetheart who would happily spend her days curled up in your lap soaking up all the love.

Shelter life has been overwhelming for this sensitive girl. The noise and constant activity make her nervous, and it’s clear she would thrive in a calm, quiet home where she can finally relax and feel secure. A fenced yard where she can safely explore at her own pace would be a dream come true for her. Apply to adopt Peanut at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com

Peanut's adoption fee is $125 and includes first vaccinations, worming, microchip, and spay. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and a volunteer will contact you 2-3 days. The adoption application is NOT on Petfinder and must be completed on the Heber Springs Humane Society website.
