Peanut's Story

This cute little guy was surrendered in a hurry. Three generations in one home and a baby coming soon. A young dog was too much.

It took about 4 days to start to accept his fosters. He is friendly after he settles down, and Peanut has manners.

He's funny about cats; one day he ignores the cat in his foster home, the next day not so much.... Peanut would not do well with kids and needs a patient, consistent home committed to teaching him all the things he wasn’t taught in the past. He is fine with other dogs. He occassionally has accidents in the home, so patience is a must. Despite his challenges, Peanut is worth of love.... just look at that face!!

Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!
That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone! Just ask your adoption counselor about how this works.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Interested in adopting this or another POPP dog?
Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://www.popptricities.org/adopt/adoption-questionnaire-canine/

If you have any questions. please E-mail us at dogsadopt@popptricities.org.

ADOPTION PACKAGES: Our puppy or dog adoption fee of $300 includes a lovable, non-judgmental canine companion who has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped prior to adoption. Your adoption fee helps support POPP and our spay/neuter efforts in the community to end overpopulation of cats and dogs.
