Peaches American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Palatine, IL

Hi guys!  My name is Peaches and I am about as sweet and lovely as they come.  The vets estimate me to be around four years old.  I'm sure you can tell, but before joining the MPGR family, my primary role in life was to be a breeding machine.  I really didn't know how to be a dog, how to walk on a leash, what a toy or unconditional love were.  Since joining the MPGR family, I have learned so much. I walk on a leash beautifully, know my sit command and am working on my stay and other commands. My foster mom thinks I may be part greyhound because I can go from 0- mad dash in flash in the yard and then be a big couch potato. I love car rides, pup cups and yes green beans.  I also LOVE rolling in the grass! I am trying to snuggle with my foster kitty brother and sisters, they are getting used to me.

I do get a little anxious when being left alone at first. I am working on this. Whomever is interested in making me a part of the family will have to have a little patience as I get to know that you are not leaving me permanently.  I promise I'm worth that and a whole lot more!  If you are interested in adding a sweet, loyal, loving, very smart and overall amazing little lady to your family, look no further cause I'm the gal for you!

Our organization is foster based which means that we really know and understand our dogs personalities as our volunteers live each day in their house with our rescued dogs. Our fosters are available to answer your questions and will give you all the details you need to know about our dogs such as if they are shy, are they outgoing, what is their energy level, are they couch potatoes, love bugs, kissers, lickers, so please do apply and ask our fosters questions - this will ensure you find your perfect match in our rescue!
