Pauline's Story
Pauline
1 year, 24lbs
Rescued in the Southwest

Meet Pauline (aka P, aka Pauly)! This affectionate, curious 1-year-old is basically sunshine with paws. She's high-energy and endlessly social — she lights up around new people, kids, and especially other dogs, always eager to say hello and make a new friend. Pauline comes to the office every day with her foster and handles it like a total pro, soaking up attention from anyone who'll give it and genuinely thriving on having people around her. She's not much of a barker, but she will let out little grunts of protest if you dare stop mid-belly-rub.

As a young pup, Pauline's still working on the basics — potty training, leash manners, and her first commands — but she's making real progress on all three every day, and she's motivated by treats and a smile (seriously, just smiling at her gets her running over for kisses). She'd do best with an active-to-moderate household and an adopter who's patient, present, and doesn't mind being followed from room to room, because Pauline's love language is proximity — she just wants to be wherever you are. She's great in an apartment, easy with other dogs (or would be just as happy as an only pup), and endlessly loving. If you want a dog who'll crawl into your lap for kisses and make you feel like the center of her world, Pauline is ready to meet you.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt Pauline, apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. IF THIS LISTING IS UP, THE DOG IS NOT ADOPTED YET.

Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!
