Paula's Story
Meet Paula! š
Paula is a 12-year-old, 14 lb Dachshund with the sweetest little soul. She is calm, submissive, and happiest when she's snuggled up with her people or burrowed under the covers like the cozy queen she is.
Paula was found as a stray and ended up at the shelter, where she was at risk for euthanasia until her foster stepped up to give her a safe place to land. Now, she is safe and ready for her forever home.
Paula does well with other dogs and cats, but she mostly keeps to herself and stays close to her humans. She is crate trained and does well going potty either outside or on pee pads. She also recently had a dental, so she's feeling fresh and ready for her next chapter!
Paula is the perfect little companion for someone looking for a gentle, snuggly senior to love. š¾

To apply to have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website at https://longwayhome.org/adopt.

⤠
Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds.
