Meet Patricia

Meet Patricia! She is about 5 months old and looks like a Shepherd mix. Patricia recently beat parvo and is finally ready to find the family she deserves. She is a typical puppy who enjoys playing with her pals, getting into mischief, and learning new things. In her foster home she has not had any experience with indoor living, so she will need help learning all her puppy-basics. Described as medium energy, she spends equal time resting as she does active. Patricia would happily live with other dogs, kids 5+, and/or confident, dog savvy cats. Patricia needs to be spayed at Tufts in Grafton by 6 months, so adopters must be within driving distance.

In addition, adopters should be home for the majority of the day (including post-pandemic) and have a positive reinforcement trainer picked out to enroll their dog with. Force-free training classes/sessions are required for all adopted dogs in order to set them and their new families up for success. Adopters should be prepared to also continue their dog's socialization and experiences with new people, places, and things, as well as expect to help them fine tune any previous training.

Her foster says, "Rosanne, Felicity, and Patricia play a lot with each other and love to run and chase one another. They can be jumpy, but usually only when they see me coming with food. They are all big puppies who are lovable and smart. They love to run around and adore all toys. hey are adorable!! They listen easily, easily redirected, respond well to positive reinforcement—very encouraging, eager to learn. Complete cuddle bugs."

She is available for adoption with an approved adopter in N. Dartmouth, MA on June 25th. Please fill out an application at www.browndogcoalition.com/adoption as a first step.
